According to Globo Esporte, manager Carlo Ancelotti praised Nedrik in Brazil's first call-up to the national team for the 2030 World Cup cycle. The Real Madrid youngster was included in the 23-man squad for the matches against Australia and India in late September and early October.

The Italian coach hopes to give the young striker more opportunities and consistent playing time in this new phase of the Brazilian national team's campaign. He heavily utilized young players in his initial squad, particularly making adjustments in the defensive line.

Ancelotti said: "We've tried a lot of center forwards this year, and now I think everyone has a clearer understanding of the situation. We have two very strong young players, and we must continue to focus on their development. Endric, and other young players who are playing well, even some outside the squad. We have plenty of depth in our squad. I think Endric will become an important player for the Brazilian national team in the future."
